: Parafix Hungary For Success With New Facility
The Budapest arm of Parafix Tapes & Conversions has continued to develop apace, with the announcement of record sales coinciding with the next stage in the development of its new purpose built premises, due for completion in August 2007.
Since its inauguration in 2002 Parafix Hungaria has demonstrated excellent growth, to the point where May 2007 was a record month for the company in terms of sales, which saw the factory booming. It is perhaps as well then that the company is well on with building work to develop a larger custom-built facility which will provide 15,000sq ft of factory and office space close to Parafix's existing premises. With all of the groundwork completed, the framework of the factory is now nearing completion.
Managing director Michael Punter is pleased not only with the success, but also with the company's anticipation of market trends, as he explains; "With manufacturing companies in the electronics, automotive, healthcare and telecommunications sectors migrating to Eastern and Central Europe in search of more competitive costs and services, we knew that establishing our own business there would be crucial if we were to maintain our relationship with our customers, and this has proven to be the case.
"More importantly, through the hard work of our team both in Hungary and here in the UK, we have been able to transfer our skills gained over the past 35 years to our Budapest site. This means that we can offer exactly the same high levels of service and expertise that customers have come to expect from Parafix, regardless of which site our customers choose to work with."
