: Parafix Hosts Bexhill High Industrial Visit
As part of Parafix's commitment to working with the local community, the company recently hosted a visit to its Lancing factory by a group from Bexhill High School's Department of Technology.
Managing director Michael Punter and health and safety manager David Moore gave the group a guided tour of the facility, along with an overview of the engineering sector's changing requirements in response to market demands. Commenting on the visit, engineering tutor Alan Smith said, "On behalf of the students, school and department of technology I would like to thank Parafix for putting on an industrial visit. All enjoyed it and the time given by the company was very generous." Michael Punter summed up the visit saying, "We consider Parafix to be very much a part of our local community, and it is encouraging that students still take an interest in engineering. It also bodes well for the future of our student and graduate intake programme."
