: Parafix Aims High in Sussex Business Awards
Following its success in last year's Sussex Business Awards, Parafix Tapes & Conversions Ltd is aiming for the stars for 2007 by entering three award categories.
Lancing-based Parafix, which finished as a finalist in the Manufacturer of the Year category last year, has entered the same category again this year, as well as the Learning Pays and Sussex Company of the Year categories. The submissions highlight the company's emphasis on personal and company development, as Michael Punter, managing director at Parafix, explains: "We are totally committed to our team acquiring the skills to be the very best they can be at their profession, and this goal is something we support wholeheartedly, assisting them through mentoring, training courses and funding. "The Sussex Business Awards are a great way for us to highlight our achievements, as well as benchmark ourselves against the best businesses in the area. We have worked very hard to put together the best possible submissions, and now we are looking forward to the event in the hope that we will emulate our previous success." The finalists will be announced at the end of September, with the awards ceremony and dinner due to be held on 22 November at the Copthorne Effingham Park Hotel.
